99 in 3bet pot

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (3 Players) BB: $48.97
BN: $25.65
SB: $28.48 (Hero)
New game so not many reads villain has been quite aggressive pre so far but we are playing 3 handed
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is SB with 9 9
BN raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, BN calls $1.75
Standard 3bet not sure i would ever do anything else
Flop ($5.40) 3 8 5
Hero bets $2.58, BN calls $2.58
Flop I think we still want to bet to protect our hand, think maybe i could bet larger though.
Turn ($10.56) 3 8 5 T
Hero checks, BN bets $7.05, Hero folds
Really not sure whats best on this turn, we could definitely bet again for a medium sizing but I checked with the intention of check calling. However when he bets this size it makes it more awkward as we will then get a great price to call river but there are no real good river cards for our hand. Does anyone just shove turn when he makes it this large?
