78s in 3 bet pot oop
Villain is fairly active and definetely more on the loose/aggressive side (3 bets around 12% from the BTN). I think he picked me out to bully and push around a bit, but it might just be his natural aggression level/ my paranoia. Pre, I think flatting is ok; I wanna have a flatting range that I can c/r flops with and kinda minimize the amount of streets I'd have to play oop. I feel like flatting 78s, 89s, 9Ts, JTs is fine here, but I might be wrong in assuming that. Either way, I flop and OESD. I don't wanna c/r an A high flop here and I think I have the implieds to call. Turn is an interesting card; I have the odds to call here, but I also think that I can c/r AI. It's going to be difficult for him to call AK, AQ or some other Ax hand, unless he flopped/ turned 2 pair. He might also have a hand similar to mine or a FD. The problem is, of course, that if I c/c it's going to be difficult if not impossible for me to extract value if I improve, especially considering the positions. So, it seems like a c/c is basically a BE play at best and c/r might be a superior play since we can fold out better. Ideas?
