Villain is 30/23 over 3.3k hands and he's on a few of my tables. Postflop he generally is in line and not particularly aggressive. I'd been limping bvb with a very wide range this session. He raised and bet quickly on all streets and the bet sizing was bigger then normal. Fold river fine?

I'd call the river as played, and I think you should fold the turn if you want to go with your reads and make a fold. Lots of draws miss, and it's hard to have 83/84 even tho hes 100% of hands.
why should it be hard to have ATC while playing 100% of hands? There is 2 FD´s missed and we obv block better 2p so a call should be fine as mplecki mentioned in a vacuum. But if you have the raed that he´s not really aggressive folding is fine as well, esp when you pick up info on sizing...
But im not sure if this is fold turn or call turn and river spot is....
i liked a turn fold when i read it the first time through
there's not a ton of hands that beat you but he's juicing it up and he's not generally aggro.
This is really tough to decide as its a limped pot. At deep tables i never limp. Now he has 100% range on the flop and triple barrelled, he could have 83,84 a lot.
That's a good point. It's really hard to define his two-pair combos, because his range contains every junk hand. This is also hard about playing a heads up match.
If you were to open UTG and BB calls and the flop is 754ss and he c/r, you can narrow his range to bluffs, sets and flush draws, since he would not defend any two-pair combo here. He can easily have it on the hand in you posted.
I´m with PGalfondFollower on this topic. We should always keep in mind what our goal is. In a pot with so much dead money (blinds and antes) - when facing the chance to take the pot down against one single player left with a random hand - we should definitely try to steal it, instead of seeing a flop with speculative hands and somehow try to win the pot postflop - oop.
I know there´s a bunch of discussion about limping and Sauce did it and stuff ... but this is an ante-table and I think the advantage of taking down like what - 2bb? preflop is sufficient argument to steal like hell instead of playing the "big pot game" against a range we simply can´t read well.
His flop raising range probably looks like: 34/38/48, A2, A5, 8x, FDs, 57, 65, random overs, BDFDs with 1+ over.
That range doesn't really improve him on the turn, except for T8, and the random overs. His range should still be a bunch of two pairs (which we have blockers to), and (combo) draws. Definitely like a call, though the river will be tough to play.
A5, 65 got there, but the rest all missed.
I'm not that sure about this because I don't have equity calculators yet, but this should probably be a fold.
A lot of the combos that I mentioned now beat us, and we're only getting a little over 2:1. Combine that with the fact that you read him as not too aggressive, I think you should fold.
I prefer raising pre. Limping v fish with a hand like this because they will play super straight forwardly.
I understand that there was a lot of talk about Sauce doing it, but for the most part, that is against more sophisticated opponents and he is doing it with his entire range.
As played/with the reads you supplied. Fold river.
Thanks for the reply's everyone, appreciate it.
