Villain here is a maniac... 3betting 38% over 500 hands and cbetting flop 95%, turn 65% and river 50% in 3bet pots. He barrels medium strength hands as a matter of habit and his checks are usually quite weak/air heavy. I'm having trouble adjusting to this style as I'm new to HU... are flop and turn calls standard here vs such a wide range/aggressive opponent?
When we reach the river this way should we be shoving hoping to fold out 7x, 88, AQ type hands or is a check prudent? I realize this is very game flow/opponent dependent but I'm curious what others think given my description of villain.
