6-Max Mixing flatting AJo-AKo in the blinds?
Mainly for the reason that i'm having a hard time handling all the combos of AJ-AK I have in my typical 3 bet range where I 3 bet them at a 100% frequency. My intuition tells me that it'd take a really punishing villain to make us flat if we play ideally (having appropriate and balanced checking ranges on flops, turns etc). However for purely practical reasons, I'd guess that it'd make our play a lot more simplistic, and exploitative against a good amount of the pool below 200nl online, if we flat some of these combos. Not to mention, it also makes our play in srp's slightly easier.
I'd substitute more a few more SC's/Axs in my 3 bet ranges by taking some of these out, and of course would be aware of villains who see my AJ-AK at showdown in srps, so that i'm aware of possible adjustments. But it's not like I think this is super exploitable or anything.
Have any of you tried mixing these hands preflop for the same reasons? I've seen other players do it, but I feel like the majority of the ones I've seen doing this have been doing it for the wrong reasons, and are unbalanced or fishy. Thoughts?
