[5NL] Value on the river?
SB: $6.77
BB: $5.59
UTG: $17.80
MP: $5.00
CO: $4.95
Hi guys,
Just wondering if the correct play here is to go for a value bet on the river? (and what sizing that might be?)
[Pre]
Flat call as I have a hand that plays well multi-way and position.
[Flop]
He pots it 4-way so he's super strong here. Being the PFR and UTG, I think this is JJ+, AXss, 77, or the last T but of course heavily discounted due to removal effects. 98 suited may also be possible here? Necessarily spades?
I'm not sure if a raise is the correct play here? I don't want to fold out hands that I beat while I have position on them. Usually in these spots I will call the river and raise the turn.
[Turn]
The turn doesn't change anything for him, I think his range remains the same. Do any spade flush draws x/f or x/c here?
[River]
Flush draws have improved, and JJ+ are still overs to the board. I think I might be able to get value here, but scared of the flush that got there. He does check it which makes me inclined to think he has an overpair. But are overpairs calling my river bet here? Don't want to put myself in a spot where everything I beat will fold and everything I don't will call.
Is this a value bet spot? And hypothetically if villain had bet the river instead, is that a fold/call/raise for us?
Thanks in advance
