the river overbet jam is a super punt, your sizing says pls call me with all boats and flushes

flop pot size bet is a error as well since you dont have the nuts and this sizing vs callers will get nutted and high equity draws to follow which cant fold no matter how big you bet, so consider betting smaller to force at least some play from weaker ranges instead of pushing them out

resist the urge to put a lot of money in with an absolute strong hand on a super volatile boards where you will be dead or get no action on runouts, this human tendency to protect your hand is a double edged sword and gets you fucked on runouts like this where you know in the back of your head your overplaying your hand but you've already committed too much and cant slow down

betting smaller on flop and let good runouts happen before you start piling money in is what i think solvers prefer and is counter intuitive to how most people play but it makes sense when you look at the rest of your range that really dont want to put tons of money in on this board to begin with - even if you flop top set here you shouldnt be to thrilled about getting it on multiway and is better to see the next cards for cheap and revaluate

I appreciate the feedback,---

"this human tendency to protect your hand is a double edged sword and gets you fucked on runouts like this where you know in the back of your head your overplaying your hand but you've already committed too much and cant slow down"

^ This was the exact thought process I had, terrible play all around. Is this flop ever a check?

interesting hand, with a super wet flop texture. while i do think changing your bet sizing on the flop and turn would have cost you less, recognize this was the dream runout for your opponent, and the absolute worst for you. turn and river go brick brick you win here a lot

A great help will be to learn why you are betting and the amount you are betting for. Also why you are checking. Betting to protect your hand is grasping at control over events over which you have no control. On each flop, turn and river equities shift or are further strengthened or weakened. Accordingly we bet a certain size or check a each point in a hand.
In this particular hand…it does not matter that you flopped Broadway. OOP against one player and the hand being multi way. Our equity is diminished. Further there are many flopped flushes in each players range..reducing our equity even more.

Cant highlight an important concept that Warrior mentioned here enough:

We can not protect versus strong draws.

That is the main reason why monotone boards are mostly played pretty passively and with small sizings already HU.
The only handclass that is theoretically incentivized to play huge bets is Nutflushes or nutflushblockers. Not enough to create a range for that sizing.

This will be even more a thing 3way where to probability of players already having a flush (as their colldcallingrange pre should most be suited hands) is even higher beside that fact that there is 6 cards in play rather than 4.
So equities will be a lot more distributed between all parties.
