V is VPIP/VPR 39/33 out of 19 hands. Postflop aggression of 100 percent. Flop donk bet and raise IP of 100 percent. I don't have any stats on his Flop Cbet or turn play. While small sample size, I feel like the number are way too high and that this guy is probably a loose aggressive player focused on making people fold with aggressive bets postflop.
On the flop, I donk bet because I feel like his range is so wide because of his stats and the fact that he is button, that he is not hitting this flop most of the time. Also I have a nine of spades, which has a blocker effect for draws? When he calls, I feel like he is calling with spade draws, pair of twos, not sure if he would call with overcards or a single or double diamond. I feel if I get a nine or an ace on the turn I would be ahead.
Looking back, maybe I shouldn't have donk bet since I didn't have anything and he has a high raise donk bet rate. Also if the turn is a spade or KQJ10 it would be awkward.
I called the raise because of his high raise rate and I guess I was just too hopeful for an Ace or Nine.
I didn't feel comfortable with re-raising since I didn't have anything. Even with his stats, people at this limit tend to play straightforward. Also if I re-raise, I would have to commit a large amount of money that I am not comfortable with since I didn't have anything.
I guess I should've folded since I didn't have anything and a flop cbet would've be awkard. Also I guess i would be check folding to anything beside an Ace. Even with a 9 I would be folding to a raise. Also the raise is larger than the pot.
My questions:
Should I have donk bet?
Is my read of his range correct or does he not have a calling range and just raise his whole range?
Should I have call the raise or re-raised or folded? I feel like the call is incorrect but not sure if I should've raised or folded.
Is the turn check fold correct? Flopzilla says I have around 50-60% equity against flush and straight draws.
Thanks in advance for any help!
