How does this line look? Is an overshove here acceptable considering that we do need some protection and we should be way ahead of villain's range?

What are we hoping to get value from? The only thing I think that calls us here is KQ - If I had QJ and faced this line i'd put some heavy thought to folding. Villain looks like a weak tight reg and would snap us off with anything that beats us and folds most of the stuff we're crushing.
Against a 20/15 I'm not sure that I love 3 betting AQo here vs MP. What kind of range are you 3 betting in this spot versus a player like this?
This did in fact get me to thinking about my 3b range from the SB. So what percentage is considered a reasonable 3b from the SB in general? And you would call with AQo instead?
It depends on if you want to have a flatting range from the SB or not. Lots of people find it tough to navigate with splitting their range from this spot. At these stakes you can probably get away with it fine and I'd probably prefer calling versus this type of opponent. Obviously if it was a looser player I'd be far more in favor of 3 betting though.
Turn is quite bad card for your hand and range, likely check/call with high freq
I think you can flat AQ or 3bet if you saw him call with worse.
I don't like to have a flatting range from SB when CO or BTN opens, but if UTG opens I'm ok with flatting, especially if BB 3bets too tight.
I would bet the turn as played, but not all-in, or his calling range destroys us.
If you bet half pot or less, instead, he could call with worse: KQs, QJs, TT, JJ, T9s, AK if he's getting sticky.
Also I don't think you need protection, the board is not draw-heavy, only draw is JTs (just 4 combos) and gets there on the turn.
Other stuff you're behind is 98s (2 combos) and QQ+ traps (13 combos).
I also like check/calling turn, can't say wich is better, I guess it depends how much opponent likes to float.
