5NL - AKs in 3bet pot

SB: $3.74
BB: $6.55
CO: $5.05
BN: $5.05 (Hero)
Only 28 hands on the CO - was playing 26/11 over that sample.
Preflop ($0.07) (4 Players)
Hero was dealt A K
CO raises to $0.15, Hero raises to $0.47, SB folds, BB folds, CO calls $0.32
Flop ($1.01) 9 T K (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero bets $0.64, CO raises to $1.43
Thoughts?

At these stakes people flat 3bets OOP with all kinds of crazy stuff, but I don't see too many hands that I'm doing reasonably well against on this flop.

Also, did I bet too big on this flop? When I was playing the hand I thought that because I bet fairly big, villain wasn't going to try raise with total air or something like KQcc or KJcc for example. Or is that a bad way of thinking in these kind of spots?

Sometimes when I play I really don't think clearly enough and don't have a plan going forward - felt pretty lost after the raise.

Thanks.

This is somewhat of a sick board but I m sure dudes at this limit do enough retarded stuff that we should be felting it.

i agree and your flop bet size is ok, i would even CB bigger at this limit since they wont pickup and exploitable betsize

Here's what I think, although I'm probably incorrect here, but here goes:-

If it's four handed and being in the cut-off, the opening raising range for a fish or a good player is quite wide, although I wouldn't discount him having a hand some of the time.

Just as you may not give him much credit him for his raise, he may know you are thinking this way sensing weakness in your raise. I think a re-raise from the SB would carry more clout. However, overall I think that a flat call out of position on his part would leave me to think the player may have a suited ace or pocket pair?

On the flop he checks as you expect and I definitely like the continuation bet from you. His check raise, raises some more questions. Would he play this fast with a set or straight? or would he donk bet out? Could he have a decent or nut flush and having a semi bluff? either way it seems he doesn't want another card to come off!

Overall, I'd say there's no way to be sure. Maybe min re-raise and see what happens? But folding might be the best play?

I think there is very little chance you are ahead here (if he calls a shove) unless CO is a total drooler. He raised preflop and called oop so about the only hands that you beat now are KQ, KJ, QQ, AQ, AJ, NONE of them usually check raise this flop. I put him on a ton of sets, straights and combo draws to C/R here so we're likely beat unless he's a drooler/spewy.

If we must get it in we shouldn't really get it in on the flop. I'd flat and evaluate turn.
