I'll be suspicious on the turn because considering pre your opponent is likely rec player and they 3bet usually (not always) strong range.
On paper hand looks decent, you have X amount of value and Y amount of bluffs. This combo is perfect to bluff as it doesn't have any showdown and blockers aren't bad. If not bluff this, will be hard to reach enough amount (Ax have showdown, PP too, 89 got there, Q9 is best combo to shovel on the river and KQ is second best)
Thanks for the reply. So do you check behind turn and river? Or bet river if villain checks?
Likely check turn and will see river, on this card I like betting (sizing might vary- from shove to half-pot to target Ace high and whatever PP he 3bet with and cb flop)
I think you should raise the flop bet approximately 3x his bet. If he calls the raise (which is the most likely outcome) and checks to you on the turn, I would then shove the turn, putting the villain in an extremely tough spot. If the villain happens to reraise on the flop, I would fold. The flop favors your 3 bets calling range much more than his. Of course, my advice is based on the assumption that you are playing against an opponent that actually has access to a fold button, which is not always the case at your limit. You did not provide any information on the villain's competency in your post, which in my opinion, is critical to how you play this hand.
Hi
Thanks for the reply. I only had 20 hands on villain at the time and I agree villains tend to be very stick with hands as soon as the first chip goes in at these stakes.
