5/10/20 interesting hand
eff stacks ~3.5k
hero raises UTG 100 QsQh
SB calls.
Flop Qd9d2h
SB checks, Hero bets 120, SB calls
Turn 10c
SB checks, Hero bets 240, SB raises to 680.
*SB is lag and capable of moves, and was having a losing sessions so he was attacking pots alot.
**What do you do after this raise?? Put him on a set and reship? Put him on a bluf and ship/loose him? Put him on some sort of draw and then what, raise or smooth call? Or obv put him on KJ/J8 and just call hope to pair the board??
Well it doesn't end here, I ended up just calling
River 4d
SB leads out for 300. WTF???????
My first instinct was that he didn't like that card and was making a defensive bet, then i realized maybe he was trying to induce a raise from me since he saw me bluff raising river before, but i decided he did not have a flush because i was credibly representing a strong hand and he would miss value with such a small bet .. Then the thinking process started, I actually tanked for a while..
First I thought about raising him to get some thin value from some of his set and few of his 2p then started to think about the str, and thought about making an over bet trying to rep the flush for him to fold, then decided that would never work and ended up just calling.
I know its not a huge pot but I really got lost on this hand. What do you guys think the profitable play is and would you do any part any different??
Cheers

Bet bigger on flop bc there are a ton of hands that will call you on that board. I think the turn is fine since I'd hate to reraise and face a ship in this spot. The river seems like a spot where I'm raising since his bet is so weak. If he's decent he should know you have a hand after calling the turn and is rarely inducing in this spot. If he's calling a raise with all sets/2 pairs then it seems like making it 1100 in this spot and folding to a reship is best.
Well, if it's unlikely he's bluffing you have to decide a few things.
1) How thinly is he ch/r'ing the turn+betting river for value?
2) How many better hands will fold if you raise? How many worse will call?
It seems like a clear call getting >6-1. It seems ambitious to expect a lag who's stuck and just block bet a flush river to be bet/folding better hands. I'd just hope he has worse here ~15% of the time or w/e.
i don't think this is very complicated at all -- turn is easy call, riv is sigh call and I think he has a straight most of the time
From what i understand of you labelling him as a LAG is in a respectful way.
Based on that, it is probable that he is calling a lot of suited connectors, middle pairs, middle and high jumpers( AQ, KJ, Q10 , J9 , and so on).
Now he might call on the flop with made hands like TTP(very less probability as only 3 combos)/set of 9s( again only 6 combos) but these hands can be slightly discounted as their chances of hitting the flop are low and you would be facing a check-raise on this flop if they had these hands/ flush and straight draws are calling along with 9x
The 10 popping on the turn is not entirely a bad card. although JK and J8 reach there , there are whole other hands like 78d, AJd, Q10( 3 combos),9 10 ( 9 combos) for which the turn is an improvement and given his bet size is not particularly keen on drawing value from you. Shipping here again depends on effective stack sizes after he check-raises.(IMO you should be ahead mostly given his flop calling range).
On the river, since you avoided shipping it on the turn, this should be an indifferent call to the bet.
Is sb the type of lag that would raise the majority of his flushdraw combos otf?
answer to this question helps us define his turn raising range a lot better.
also, you mentioned villain is a LAG player, how does he view you? are you a tag? lag? do you cbet a lot? not a lot? if you raise turn big will he think you have flushdraw combos in your range?
You should bet the flop bigger. There are a bunch of SDs in Villians range, and a bunch of pairs that won't fold. You need to get in money with these stack sizes. About 170-180.
Turn: Bet-calling looks fine. A titling LAG can easily have a lower set, two pair, or a made hand turned into a bluff. He should never have J8, so you only lose to KJ.
Reads are very important in a spot like this. If he had a flush draw, he probably would have c/r the flop, not the turn. More likely he has a value hand that's not a flush.
And since you beat every value hand that's not KJ, you should call. The hands above don't call to a raise, and a tilting guy will not fold KJ here.
Call.
