5/10; too tight of a fold with AK on A-high 3way?
V1 MP: 1,5K
V2 CO: 1K
Hero SB: 1,4K (AcKd)
Have only played for about 1 hour with those guys, but V2 seems to be a fun player who is capable of doing some funky stuff. V1 seems more regish.
Preflop: V1 opens 30, V2 calls, Hero 3-bets to 150, both call;
Flop: Ad7dTs Hero checks, V1 bets 180, V2 jams for ~850.......Hero?
My thoughts at the time: V1 is probably betting any Ax+ there; V2 shoving range: I think he might overplay AQ - MAYBE even some AJ there, obv all twopair+ and of course a bunch of FD+SD combinations.
First I thought my hand is just too strong to fold there, since I won't show up with any better hands when checked except AA. On the other hand I do block a decent amount of draws having the Kd. So ultimatly I decided to fold with V1 covering me and still to act.
I'm not a 100% sure about the flop check either, usually I would use weaker Ax to strengthen my checking range there, but seemed like the diomond blocker makes a decent check too....thoughts?
V1 did call and the hands went to Showdown, but I'd really like to get some comments on the hand first, Thanks!
