I think turn is very debatable and river is obviously not an easy spot but i feel somewhat a bit easier than figuring out what to do on the turn

If you're betting the flop, I'd bet the flop a bit bigger as it's a wetter board and you;re a bit deeper. On the turn I'd barrel a range of something like TT+, KQ, AK, AQ, AJ which looks like a healthy range. and end up shoving the river. Betting the turn yourself rather than ch/c is going to help out when you have AK AQ KQ, and villain should be checking behind the turn a bit with worse hands that would call a bet again (T9s, +QJs type stuff, and most fds have a pair or straight draw). If he's stabbing the turn with that range then you can ch/r with your range.

I don't really like the c/c on the turn by checking your potentially giving him a free card and your not getting any information by the c/c your left with a really difficult spot on the river. I think I prefer just betting and putting pressure on draws or c/f the turn as played definitely c/f river. He's not doing this with a lower two pair and the best you can hope for is a split pot if he happens to have AJ but I don't really see that given he called the 3 bet with another player to act. I really expect to see a FH here most of the time or some slow played QQ+. Obviously the biggest problem is you have currently no info on the player so I think betting the turn is better.

The only hands that i can really see taking a free card are 99 or 109s.

True but there's no benefit for us in check calling from what I can see unless we are expecting him to bluff which would be fair enough but I don't think we can continue on the river when he bets again.

In theory you hold one of the best possible bluffcatchers, you block JJ/JT/AA. And you don't block any KQ or fd.

However I don't expect the population of 50 NL zoom regs to bluff off 180bb all that frequent, especially since the 8 improves all your QQ-AA if he had TJ. This is something for which 50 NL regs are better equipped than me.

Also if you think they will play very straightforward this deep, you could bet 60% again on the turn and give up after that. The smaller you bet the more he will call with hands that you still beat.

Your bread and butter line here should be to bet flop, bet turn, and x/decide river. You're substantially ahead of his range on both the flop and the turn, and betting will get you value from weaker Jx/Tx as well as numerous draws.

The con to betting turn with this hand is that you'll often river a bluffcatcher on spades or straightening cards, and competent villains will correctly bet their missed draws as well as their 2PR+ combos, forcing you to x/f your equity. But don't let a marginal river decision on less than half the deck cause you to lose value on the flop and turn.

Cheers man i agree betting turn is better i just kinda check sometimes when i'm not comfortable with hypotethical situations that could occur because of betting like getting raised or having to make a decision on a river, agree turn shud be a bet for value

I would probably calls pre-flop to the HJ 3x.
Also, 6.5 is too much. 3.5x OOP is plenty.

Bet slightly bigger on flop.
Bet turn and decide on river.
You played it fine.
