Not sure what to make of his pot bet on the flop and turn. After he bets the turn he got around $20 left. On the turn I think I should decide to go with the hand or not. I think the disadvantage of calling is giving AK w/ a heart a free shot at the river. So I decided between shipping and folding, and I think my hand here is strong enough to shove.

makes sense but hes getting a good price to call with all the hands with big hearts or 8s in the and is mostly calling with hands that are already crushing u. thats just my opinion i think your right about shoving or folding i just think folding in a vacuum is best. not sure thats the "winning play over time. spot on with pre and flop call just not liking the shove on turn
I agree with shove or fold, but I don't think this is worse often enough given the line, I would just fold vs an unkown.
he rep to much strong, again his calling range you are almost dead and he call almost everything on this sizing ,the worse hand in his range is AhK or AKh,maybeeeee KQh or KhQ ,but more likely this is QQ-AA,sets
Why do you think his range is too strong? Because of his sizings? Do you read the pot bet as strength? Why can't he have QT/KT/KQ/KJ?
I plugged in my range here. If we're only continuing with 2pair+ we're only continuing 17% of the time.
Not all those hands will necessarily 3b preflop, and I think most except KJ wouldn't continue on the turn. He's repping a super strong hand, when he bets almost pot ott with about half his stack behind I don't think he's ever folding. It's a nitty fold for sure but I think it's correct. You'd need some kind of previous read on villian to call. Maybe he is a maniac and it's a bad fold but I'd prefer to have that read before putting a buy-in in the middle.
3bet and 2 bet pot is strong imho, you have read that he make this big bet with draw or weak TP?
no pretty much readless
I think im folding the turn....I dont want to but im gonna take the pf and flop call as a loss and im gonna give up...seeing how we have no history with the villain leads me to believe if u flat or shove hes not gonna lay it down and u could potentially lose a buy in...when u shove here u dont know where u r in terms of equity.....
