50NL top two on 4flush board OoP vs river bet

CO: Hero: $215.42
BN: BTN: $164.02
SB: SB: $108.72
BB: BB: $98.50
UTG: UTG: $117.70
HJ: MP: $100.30
Villain is 23/17 over 59 hands.
A little bit of history vs this particular opponent:

Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt Q A
UTG folds, MP folds, Hero raises to $3, BTN raises to $9, SB folds, BB folds, Hero calls $6
Flop ($19.50) 7 2 Q (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $10.50, Hero calls $10.50
I opted to check-call to keep his range wide and to give him some rope in case he was on a light 3-bet and tries to take the pot away. Definitely like to check most of my strong hands to the preflop aggressor, intending to checkcall or checkraise. In this case, since the board isn't that wet, I decided to checkcall with the intention of checkraising favorable turns.
Turn ($40.50) A (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN checks
Was planning a checkraise on this turn but he didn't follow through with another bet.
River ($40.50) 3 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $24.50
So, on this river, I can't bet for value with my hand since I'm almost never getting called by worse. Default way to play this seems to be check-decide. If he bets, it's a very tough spot because I'm at the top of my range more or less, bar KQ with the K of diamonds, which I'm checkraising. What would you do in this spot? Is calling here too stationy? Or folding just too nitty?

Still 50nl. Something's up with my conversion to forum format. Don't mind the doubled $$$.
