i would just shove pre
if he 4bet decent
as played i think only options is just the x/shove we need protection
I also shove pre
Flop I guess wp except fold to shove, I can't imagine population has any bluff 3b there
Is shoving pre standard here? My understanding of the BB vs. SB vs. Button situation is pretty weak. I feel that only hands that we beat or are flipping with will call the pre-flop shove. In addition, what is a typical 4-bet range for button? I would think it would be extremely polarized right?
Since BU has position, regs tend to polarize their ranges.
I don't mind to shove JJ pre vs BU 4b.
It's just fine to flip when u already invested that much of ur stack, and you will generate some fold equity from A10s, AJs, AQo, so u pushing quite a bit of equity as well
What would be the appropriate range to shove here then? 99-AA/AQ-AK?
Wouldn't be necessary to have some stats before deciding what to shove? Shoving of course its not standard here, by any means.
The mandatory shove hands are AKs, AKo and KK. Also QQ vs looser guys that cold 4bet what they "should". AA, JJ and good suited hands can both shove or call. Rest of hands can call when they get odds and enough playability to call but don't play well as shove hands.
The shove is standart(ish), depended on a stats as you say, but in general it will be a okay shove against majority of the field, unless villain have like cold call 3b range, or 4bet ak+ and jj's+ (witch is unlikely, I believe)
wp, just x/shove flop. If you give villian range of only QQ+, he still will have AK. While we can't get away of losing to those, we need protection vs 2 over cards.
