50nl Deep - Turned trips facing raise & river barrel

BB: $88.02
BN: $129.80
SB: $102.90 (Hero)
BB Stats;

VPIP: 28, PFR: 20, 3B: 10, AF: 3.4, fSBstl: 60%, BvB 3b: 8, Hands: 782
Preflop ($0.75) (3 Players)
Hero was dealt A 9
BN folds, Hero raises to $1.80, BB calls $1.30
I usually raise a bit bigger because antes are in play and I don't want the BB to be peeling super wide IP deep.
Flop ($3.85) 2 A 6 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BB checks
Decided to use this hand in my checking raise to protect my range which includes stuff like 88, 99. I don't think I can get much value from worse by cbetting either. The board is so dry that I feel he'll attack my capped range with a lot of air.
Turn ($3.85) 2 A 6 A (2 Players)
Hero bets $2.20, BB raises to $7.92, Hero calls $5.52
I bet the turn which I would do with a large % of my range, and he raises.

From his perspective I look capped to < trips, so I call and keep his range the widest. He could do this with backdoor heart draws, random gutshots as well as pure air.
River ($19.49) 2 A 6 A J (2 Players)
Hero checks, BB bets $12.24
There is $78.20 behind, so I feel shoving is a little ambitious.

The thing is, i'm not perceived to have an A here very often, so should I be raising river and expect to get called by worse?

I'd like to be able to turn hands like 44 or KThh so I feel like I need to raise A9. I assume he'd bet any combos that us (22, 66) and AT+ to 3b pre and bet the flop when checked to.
