Villain is an okay reg but has been getting the better of me. He's a huge station, especially in 3bet pots (28/22/14 fold to cbet in 3bet pot on F/T/R)
Villain folds to 3bet 44% overall and 4bets 20% overall.
I'm wondering what your preferred line is between the following:
1) betting turn / calling shove
2) overbet jamming turn to rep 66/diamonds (hero doesn't CC from SBvBTN so 66 is in our range) to get called by Jx/99 etc.
3) c/jamming and ending the hand right there
4) c/c'ing

If he's a huge station why not just keep betting the turn? It's not the greatest turn for us but if we think that he's going to get sticky with tons of hands it seems better than check calling when he's going to have limited pure air bluffs to bet anyways on that turn.
Agreed ^
Against a sticky opponent, on this board, I'm just looking to bet 3 streets here.
I think that too many of his likely hands (that we beat) will not want to bet this turn when checked to (66, 99, TT, 98s, 67s, TJ, etc.) for fear of getting check-raised, but will for sure call us for at least one more street...So I think checking this turn loses us too much value overall.
Plus, stacks set up nicely for a river shove.
I agree to both answers. What about the sizing on the turn? Does a small bet makes sence here?
If he 4bets so much, we can discount some AA and KK combos right? As played I reckon QQ too strong to fold turn though it looks like we only beat AK AQ AJ. I probably call turn and re-evaluate based on the river texture sir.
i would like the turnplay against avg. regs, because i have the experience that they go nuts against weakness in 3b pots, but if those are really his F/T/R stats (28/22/14 fold to cbet in 3bet pot on F/T/R), then we just gotta tripple. i thought for a sec that would be VPIP/PFR/3bet stats :D
