SB posts $0.25, Hero posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has 7s 8s
3 folds, BTN raises to $1.10, fold, Hero raises to $5.00, BTN calls $3.90

Flop: ($10.25, 2 players) 6d 9c 2s
Hero bets $3.25, BTN calls $3.25

Turn: ($16.75, 2 players) Kd
Hero bets $10.50, BTN calls $10.50

River: ($37.75, 2 players) 6s
Hero bets $31.25 and is all-in,

So I 3bet this hand in frequency I have no 15 hands on villain and seems to be a regular in the pool
I bet flop and try to barrel the turn aggro to try to make a straight or fold out hands like pocket pairs and hands like 10J is the river shove good? and when do we shove? if we check we always loose the hand and we have good unblockers for I mostly think villain will have pocket pairs in his call flop/turn range.

Are you betting high frequency OTF? Even if you’re not you still end up with lots of bluffs OTR if you’re barreling all your gutters+ and you’re repping Kx+ for value, so if you think villain can ever call you with worse than Kx you need to be selective with your bluffs. 87 would be one of my top candidates to give up, blocking 77, 88, 79-89s if you think he XC XC XF those hands and not blocking any value hands. You can probably get away with it if v is folding too much OTR

What do u think about the flopstrategy. Im not sure, hero has all overpairs, but flop is connecting more with villian he has all the sets and draws he can put pressure with on this flop. Do u think a range check is better on this flop, and then defend with polar range? So in this example we X/R. On turn we follow through if A,K,Q comes because this gives us new FE, because its more in our range.

yeh high frequency well I had 10 hands on villain now 300 he seems to be a good regular so I did not had that read beforehand but I still think I would 3barrel against this player in this case he had a set of 22 but did not think he would call that combo BTN vs BB but seems to be a very loose player

Oh nm. I thought sb opened and you 3bet. Totally different dynamics. It’s probably ok to barrel off. He should have a fair amount of missed draws that floated flop, PPs that instafold. but again, when the K turns it’s tempting to fire nearly your entire range and not concede that you range bet flop and show up to the turn with your entire 3bet range. It probably comes down to whether or not you think people are calling rivers w 9x and how wide you think he’s peeling flop and turn. Intuitively I feel that most people slightly over fold all three streets

yeah I think so too, in the end regular is a good player so not sure but I can try at least with this combo, river is a bit difficult but I think when I bet turn I need to bet river as well to try to make him fold any PP.
