$50HUNL 3barreling bluffing

BB: $50
SB: $50 (Hero)
Villain is unknown, seems passive, maybe cally.
Preflop ($0.75) (2 Players)
Hero was dealt 9 Q
Hero raises to $1.25, BB calls $0.75
Flop ($2.75) 3 4 6 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.75, BB calls $1.75
Turn ($6.25) 3 4 6 5 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB calls $4
River ($14.25) 3 4 6 5 8 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $9

so this is a pure board texture bluff.  The tip top of his range is 45, 65, 55.  He didn't raise the flop or turn, so he shouldn't have any other sets, 2p, 7x.  he can have a bunch of A3, A4, A5, A6, XXhh, AsXs, KsXs, 3Xss, 6Xss.

Thoughts?  This is becoming pretty standard for me.

I think if you're going to bruff him here just pot it. You don't want him getting sticky with his two pairs. Also, his sets and two pairs are not going to always be raising you on the turn. Sometimes the fish just call in this spot with the 4 straight. I do think he doesn't have a straight though because he would raise turn with a straight (because of the flush draw) or at least, if he is a thinking player he will raise turn.

I like your play here. And if he calls then you get info on how stationy he is and can valuebet accordingly in the future.

I don't think you can discount the straight much. It's hard for him to get any value raising the straight on this board so it would be entirely for protection against flushes, sets, 2 pairs. And if he's passive like you say he may like slow playing orhas a one card straight and I'd afraid of the higher straights

hi,

note, if you bet the river your range is very polarizied to 7x and bluffs and you have all the busted flushdraws in your turnbetting-range. i am not surprised if he call 45 or A6. i see herocalls on 4straight-boards all the time. maybe an overbet works but i am not sure.

i hate everything except for preflop :)

I'm checking this board on the flop or betting it really big (75-85%) with all of my hands. (i'm prob checking with this hand as you have basically nothing. yes I see the one backdoor draw to a 4 flush that isn't the nuts hah)

given that he called the flop, the turn smashes him...I'm already on to the next hand. If I had a 7 or flush draw or any sort of hope of winning this, I'd be hitting the pot button and then moving down a click or two.

river changes nothing and he already called twice...I mean in theory if you bet the turn, you sorta should bluff the river, but there are now two missed flush draws and gutshots...I dunno...I'd just give up. you have too many bluffs and you're not gonna be value betting KK here or something.
