Hero: bets $145
So villain opens 27%, flats 55% overall, and is a small winning 500 reg. Is the river necessary, or even good? What about the flop?

i will check fold the flop. as play, donk bet river as bluff is not a good move, hero dont block any flush cards, V can beat hero most time.
Think river bluff is mandatory, flop I'm quite unsure of. What worse hands could you possibly have to bluff with?
Pretty much sums up my thoughts - must bluff river, no idea what's the best option OTF.
Looks good, you're at v bottom of your range and have a handful of As and Js for value anyways
ya i just cf flop
Bottom at your range and he's probably not going to check down worse very often. I like it and you should be uncapped
You should have a ton of pair+As that c/c this flop such as AsAx, etc. But I'd like this more if Villain was BTN as Hero would have more ATo, AJo and AQo to balance this play with. Also, at first glance I can't think of many hands that would want to c/c and bluff this specific river, so the frequencies should be okay (if we were playing vs BTN).
What I find more interesting about this hand is the flop play. Tough spot either way.
I got every single combo of ATo,AJo and AQo preflop SB vs CO.. Seems kinda standard to have all of them to me. I'm guessing DanDanDan got them as well. So don't think it changes that much if we're sb vs co or sb vs btn. At least not regarding those combos.
