50 NL Zoom - Up against weird turn CR

BN: $53.82 (Hero)
SB: $78.30
BB: $32.48
UTG: $32.50
HJ: $59.83
CO: $52.86
Villain is a reg running at 23/18 over ~300 hands
Preflop ($0.75) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 8 A
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO raises to $1, Hero calls $1, SB folds, BB folds
I am not sure why I didn't raise here. I'd say I raise here the vast majority of the time. Maybe I thought my hand is strong enough to see a flop in position.
Flop ($2.75) 8 3 2 (2 Players)
CO bets $2, Hero calls $2
I have TPTK. I don't feel like I am going to fold out many hands that beat me here. But I should probably raise this for value. His CBet % is 86.
Turn ($6.75) 8 3 2 6 (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero bets $4, CO raises to $11, Hero calls $7
I am completely confused by his line here. After just calling the flop I was ready to call again here in order to give him a chance to barrel off with missed overcards. Once he check/raises I am kind of lost. Probably should fold right here. I call the turn probably because I hate all my options and kind of hope my call slows him down.
River ($28.75) 8 3 2 6 5 (2 Players)
CO bets $13.25
It doesn't slow him down and I hate poker. :) My hand reading skills aren't great. The only hands I can really put him on with his play would be 66 or 54s.

I know I butchered this hand pretty badly, but it is so puzzling to me, that I would like to get some comments on it anyway.
