$50 NL HU underbetting
SB: $52.74
BB: $60.93 (Hero)
BB: $60.93 (Hero)
early in a match, villain seems like he might be overly-aggro. I caught him bluffing in a bad river spot in a single raised pot.

SB raises to $1, Hero raises to $3.50, SB calls $2.50

I use this sizing regularly on these boards and in 4b pots. FWIW, i do it with Ax too, not that i care about balancing this board vs someone i'll likely only play for a few hundred hands.

same thing. I can bluff and v.bet this way, putting villains in bad spots and protecting my stack.

Hero checks,

After i take this line and villain nearly pots the river, i call. First, if he thinks my bets are weak, he should not value bet so big. Second, if he thinks my bets are strong, he can't really bet his weaker range into my stronger range so big for value. And third, if my earlier bets were balanced, my check signifies moslty check/folds.
Also, i've shown down a number of AX hands from the BB in single raised pots ( i at least call all AXo vs a min raise).
Any thoughts on my thoughts. I do do this fairly frequently.
