I was playing around with the ranges on pokersnowie it came up with a 10% range of hands to 4 bet. Where the EV between 4 betting / calling are pretty close, some hands have slightly higher EV calling than 4 betting.

4 bet range: AQ+, A8s+, A5s-A4s, K10s+, T9s+, 76s-54s, 88+. (10.1%)

Only a few hands fit into calling being +EV and 4 betting be 0.00 EV which are 66, 77, Q10s, & J9s. Everything else snowie is showing as 0.00 EV or -EV.

If hero is opening around 40% on the button and playing this range, aren't we over folding vs 3 bets? Even if we mix in some ATo-AJo, KQo, as 4 bets, we are still folding around 70% of your buttons vs these 11bb 3 bets.

If I look at the 0.00EV 4bets: AJo-ATo, KQo, 77-66, K9s, Q9s, J9s, 98s-87s, A3s-A2s, I am not sure if we should be 4 betting these as well. Given it's just extra variance and folding and 4 betting have the same EV. Of Course it's an exploit if opponent over folds to 4 bets.

Also note in the Rio videos I watch some hands like AJo / KQo appear to be mixing calling / 4 betting. Snowie is showing AJo (-0.38 EV) & KQo (-0.60 EV). Pretty big compounding mistake i've been making with some of these hands if snowie is correct. Snowie is 3 betting decent percentage of hands from SB as well 15-17%.

What is the "standard" 4 bet %?
