4 bet sizing preflop with AA

Hi everyone,

I would love to hear how people judge their 4 bet sizing preflop. I have an example below and would love to hear if my sizing is too big and that is why he folded. Do you normally 4 bet your aces or do you just smooth call a 3 bet and trap with it?

PokerStars - $0.50 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4: http://www.pokertracker.com

BTN: $112.69
SB: $107.78
BB: $51.59
UTG: $50.75
UTG+1: $50.00
MP: $69.76
MP+1: $52.00
MP+2: $50.00
Hero (CO): $60.49

SB posts SB $0.25, BB posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has Ad Ac
fold, fold, MP calls $0.50, fold, fold, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN raises to $5.75, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $15.00, fold

Hero wins $12.75

Is my sizing too big? Plus with everyone else folded it would just be heads up with CO, so should I just smooth call his 3bet and go heads up or was this 4 bet the right play?

I would size up the iso raise pre to 4bb usually and would orientate my 4betsizing at the staxkdepth. I guess around 2.4x for 120bb is on the smaller side but ok.
The idea of flatting here from time to time is fine, but should be more of an exception (maybe like 1/5 times or so).
Therefore villain could be 3betting lighter (as you isoed a limper) could lean calling a bit more....
But given the fact that it is fullring (so 3bets are usually stronger than 6max) i still prefer 4betting AA
