not sure if this is ever a thing.. expecting to never get folds from Qx,KK+ (hands that might check at some frec) and just tryin to get folds from AJ,AK,AXss,A9s type of hands.

It's unfortunate that we block most of villain's x/f range otr.
AK - Villain might not barrel the turn without at least a big spade - which we block.
AJ - Villain likely has a follow-through on the river with those few combos (this might be reason for slight river over-bluff if he always bets AJ on turn).
AsXs, AcXc - Will fold if we bet but he might not have enough of those combos in chis check-give-up-range because they are in his bluff-range ott/otr. Again, might be a reason for slight over-bluff on this board but I am unsure about that part of villain's range.
JJ, 99 might not find the fold button.
QQ,TT, 88, 77, AQ, KQ, QJ, QT, JT - Will not fold.
So all in all I think that because we block so much of villain's x/f range otr we should not bluff this specific combo. It sucks because we are never winning if we check back but I also believe that if we bet villain does not have enough check-folds to make this a profitable or 0EV bluff.
It's possible I am completely off here and constructed the ranges wrong in my head but those are my thoughts on the situation.
think the hand is well played and the river is probably extremely close either way.
The only thing I personally would change is how to proceed otf. And tbh, this might be very non-gto but I like to start piling in chips there - my brain probably does this to protect me from difficult turn or river decisions like this one.
Frankly, I just recently got back into the game since legislation in my country allows online poker again so I might be a bit rusty but I thought I'd give this hand a shot.
Yep! i like this analysis. Agree flop its gonna be a raise at some frequency. How about non spade KJo on the river?
For that size, he has to fold 1 time in 5 . They bet/bet/check KK/AA here too sometimes too. I think it's kind of close. Maybe just stick with the non spade/club KJ and not make the move with KsJc or KcJs.
makes sense to not use Ks or Js
Am I the only one who thinks that with our hand and the board blocking a lot of the Queens V would 3B and our holding blocking KK, OESDs, and some spade draws that a raise IP on the flop seems like a good move here? If not with this kind of hand what part of your range are you raising here?
Yeah I'm also raising this flop a lot of the time.
Pre is a fold vs the bigger than pot 3bet
Flop there is option for raising the small cbet
Turn call seems like the only play
River is a jam, you have tons of value here, move all your bluffs into jamming range along with all your value Tx and don't bother having a small betting range to exploit fold those hands you listed. You accomplish the same thing by jamming but now both your value and bluff hands have higher EV. You can fit more bluffs if you bet bigger and this sizing is way too small to fit KJ along with your missed flushes. It's going to get called too much, so just use the same size you would for your value hands, which is jamming.
So, i think you are correct that mainly we wanna be shoving our value and our bluffs. But isnt there a part of our value range that isnt incentivsed to shove? Like AQ and maybe some KQ, if so, then we should have some bluffs for a smaller size..
i think those hands just check back river
