3bet sizing when deep
Hey guys, i disagree with a friend on this topic
let's say we play NL1k$, and we are 250bb deep (2500$) with everyone
BU, reg, open with 2BB (20$), you are SB with your usually 3bet range, or let's say AA, KQ or A5s, at what sizing do you 3bet?
I say i go around 150-180$, because:
-i don't want vilain to have an easy and ev+ call with all his range
-i don't want vilain to put me on hard spots by raising flop or turn, realising his position advantage with a high stack to pot ratio
-i want to have some 3 barrels spots with "normal" sized (like 60-65% of the pot) to put a lot of pressure on vilain range
-i want some FE preflop
my friend to say to keep it a 80$, like 100bb deep, because:
-sizing 150-180$ have a very bad risk/reward
-it sucks to 3bet bluff at 150-180$ sizing
-we don't exploit vilain by sizing 150-180$
-he wants to play vs villain's loose range postflop
-he says that a villains call with, for instance, JTo, vs a 150-180$ sizing is a EV- play for BU
so what do you think? i'm pretty sure all is not black or white, and we have both some good points but i'm still undecided
