3bet pot river bluff opportunity?
Party, $3/$6 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.
Hero (SB): $724 (120.7 bb)
BB: $642 (107 bb)
CO: $619.35 (103.2 bb)
BTN: $2,264.22 (377.4 bb)
Preflop: Hero is SB with 8s 8c
CO raises to $18, BTN folds, Hero raises to $60, BB folds, CO calls $42
Villain is a breakeven reg, not many stats on him at all.
Flop: ($126) 6s 2c Ah (2 players)
Hero bets $62, CO calls $62
I guess I could XC this board but I prefer to XC with higher pairs and low Ax. Given that 88 is a bit more vulnerable I decide to cbet.
Turn: ($250) Js (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks
Time to give up since I have very little equity, am unlikely to be floated, and villain shouldn't give up with many Ax.
River: ($250) Kc (2 players)
But now this river comes which is much better for my range than villains. I can have KK and KJ as well as a few hands that chose not to barrel turn for whatever reason (AK, QT, AA, JJ). A line of bet-check-bet is also one I would very infrequently take on this board.
Thoughts on bluffing this river and, if so, how much? I would much rather have a blocking-type hand like Q9s or T9s in this spot but those should be few and few between....
