This is more of a theory-type question, because it's a spot I have never properly looked into and I have no idea where to start in terms of developing a decent strategy for this. Nevertheless this situation happens occasionally and the pot is rather big.

In this particular hand I just decided to go for a bet on the flop since I expect JJ, TT, 99, KcQc, KcJc to call, and I also profit from FE when he has other hands that just missed. My plan was to shut down on the turn and expect PPs that I beat to not start betting, so it should be ok. But I actually don't know if this is a good approach, I just didn't want to go into check/call mode. That isn't a great reason.

In general I'm not sure if these are exceptional spots that need some work or if we should just treat them like most other situations and play check/call here.
