BTN is a reg opening wide and folding to 3bets a lot.
BB: Relatively unknown, only 90 hands but I seen in stats he has cold called a 3bet twice and is playing 25/21.
No other useful stats on him.

I probably mess up here and should just c/f but with the backdoors I really wanted to bet.
I put him on a range of QQ/JJ/AK (I block some Ax combos)

I am not sure what to do here.
Check fold seems really suck when I pick up the nut flush draw.
Check call doesn't seem great.
Bet fold or Bet call or two options but I am not sure which is best?

Preflop is pretty butchered. Dont bet these dominated AX handranges OOP. Even if we hit a flop like AXX, we're still probably uncertain of our hands hand strength.
Flop: i would've bet, since you should have alot of KX TP,OESD, and 2-pair combos in your preflop 3-betting hand range.
Turn: turn is pretty gross spot. you can basically discount bluff from his turn raising range. It's either 2-pair+,or some type of combodraw. Equity wise how A5s fare VS his turn-raising range.
(I took out all set combinations from Villains turn raising range, since i would assume him to be raising on flop for Equity-protection. So Villains turn raising range is more skewed towards 2-pair/Combodraws)

Pretty easy fold.
if we actually have 29% equity, its a call. We are calling 9.2 to win 27, we only need 25% equity for this to be a call. Plus there is another $2.25 behind well win when we hit
I think turn bet is good, he can have and fold hands like QQ/JJ AQ/AJ floats, JTs etc. You cant check/call and check/folding is giving up to easy I think. Once we get raised tho its pretty crappy cuz we are prolly priced into a call.
I think its more complicated than the obvious pot-odds scenario stated above. the EV(call) is hardest option to model, since it derives from the analysis of future streets
EX: 1) How many cards help our range 2) How many cards helps Villains range
3) Whats our implied odds if we hit Diamond 4)What happens if board pairs, etc...
Theres so many permutations to calculate for. From the top of my head, i would assume the given scenario to be a -EV call.
I Just got CREV a week ago(still learning how to use it), if i have time, I'll try to see if i can calculate an answer for this outcome.
we dont really have to worry about all that since its basically an all in. The simplest way is just to evaluate the EV of a shove. We risk 11.2 to win 29. Then we give him a range and we see if we have the required equity
yeah ur right. :P, i was paying attention to villains stack size of $34... yea basically find the BEP, and see if our call is profitable.
If he folding to 3bets a lot, make sure u have cards that play good ON position
A5 d is a bad cards to play oop.
even if a A came on the flop you are probably no good
I do not agree that A5s is bad to 3B Oop vs villains who steal alot, and (disregarding some reverse pot odds situations) is one of the best type of hands to do it with imo.It has good playability(i.e we can flop good equity and barrell a lot of flops) and is well disguised when we hit the nuts.
As played Op, i would x/f or x/c the turn if he gives us good odds.
Here you just have 0%Fe, and just have to fold.
