He has been giving me a though time in 3b pots on midcard flop like this one. Both by floating and by raising. For that reason I decided to 3b 97s to have something to play with that situation. I am not sure this makes sense?
The above stated facts are also the reason I CB this flop.
The turn gives his range alot og pair + draw that will check back when checked too, so I opted for a valuebet.
On the river I figure he wil call me with worse 2 pair, but he might valuebet them himself if checked too. However, there are some 6x in his range here for sure.
I would appreciate input on how to play all streets.

Is c/c turn an option ?
Range-wise things get way more interesting. Basicly Hero's range on river is: straight , set, twopairs, overpair, top pair, busted flushdraw and perhaps some busted gutshot draw. I think that Hero should be betting the top and the bottom of his range (straight & busted draws). However when it comes to one pair hands, two pair hands and sets I think that check-calling/folding might make sense.
I think this is a really poor reason to 3bet this hand. Variance is prevalent everywhere in poker, including specific situational dynamics thus creating illusions of exploitation. If the first 4 times the flop was mid-range, he raised your CB and you folded, that doesn't mean it's part of his grand strategy to attack those flops. There's a very good chance that it's simply a reflection of a player that plans to have significant raising ranges against 3b flop CBs and these flops happened to be good spots for his hands (whether they be for value or bluffs..) I don't think that's enough reason to completely alter our 3bet range construction. I'm far more inclined to alter my post-flop ranges (like what hands I'm CBing, and how I'm reacting to flop raises with them).
As played, I chk/call the turn. It's not like we're going to get 3 clean streets of value with this hand very often anyways, so I'd rather use it as a nice/strong bluff-catcher on the turn and then VB a lot of rivers when turn chks thru.
