i recently played this hand which I think I missed some value on.

6 max live; vilain just lost his stack on a draw so probably chasing; an aggressive player. Overall ppls overcall a lot preflop ie raised pots go 4 to 6 ways.

I limped 88 utg (to call a further raise instead of 3bet) around 1k1 effective

CO omc raise to 15; btn call;; sb folds bb call; i call and vilain call

5 way to flop pot is 75

flop 8s6s5c; checked to me I bet 36
vilain calls; omc call; btn folds and bb call

I decided to bb checks; I decided to check to let ppls draw; or in case someone has a random 5; my bet that gets raised: then if I 3bet and lead river it would be hard to value; instead check raise then bet river would be easier??

vilain bets 84 in 219 ; folded to me i raise to 252 (should have raised to 300???)

villain flat pot is 723

vilain has 730 behind; i bet 420 in 723 vilain tanked long long long time and called with 56o

Sizing wise in retrospective i should have raised bigger turn to set up all in river?

In live games ppls tend to look at bet sizing more than % of pot sometimes imo?
