3 betting with a polarized range
I am starting to 3 betting not long had it in my game and because I polarized my range I seem to overplay them when I get called take the "bluff hands" far to far and I end up loosing big pots. My question are what kind of flops are good for a polarized range and should I be playing straightforward with my bluff hands postflop ???? Any idea would be great
Thanks

If your bluffs are very junky, they will rarely hit boards hard. So your premium hands need to carry most of the weight. Here's an example of a good board for an extremely polar range:
2 2 2
Why? Because you have all the big pairs, your opponent not, and he is left with worse pairs and a bunch of overcards that you now can barrel hard against.
A bad board for a junk-polar range would be:
J T 6 with a flush draw.
Why? Because it hits your opponent's 3B calling range very well, and if your bluffs are very raggedy (Axo type of stuff) they mostly miss. Compared to the 2 2 2 board, your overpairs are not nearly as strong. They are still usually the best hand on the flop, but your opponent will have much better equity on average when he calls a c-bet, and some of his likely 3B-call hands (JJ, TT, JTs) have you crushed.
The typical polarized 3betting range with hands like 54s, 74s, K2s and 98o to name a few hands performs best on low flops like T75, 964, 742 etc. Your bluffs connect with the flop, villain makes few pairs and you have many overpairs with a lot of equity.
It performs poorly on A high, K high and Q high flops because those flops miss your weak hands and connects very well with a tight call against 3bet range. The more cards T and above the better for villain and worse for you. Any board with two cards 9 or higher will be somewhat bad for your range compared to villains.
P.S. I'm assuming a bluff heavy polarized 3betting range of the type you use against players with 55%+ fold to 3bet.
