2NL KK vs UTG open + BTN flat

Notes:
No significant sample on BTN: 72/13 over 40 hands.

Thought process:
I have seen so many players shove with only with 2pr or a set here. Would BTN have flatted a 3bet with 97, 74, 94? Unlikely, imo. They would, however, flat with 99, 77, and maybe 44. Therefore, I should fold KK.

On the other hand, I have seen so many players shove here with AcXc, QQ-TT, therefore I should call with KK.

I am a relatively new player, so please make any necessary criticisms, corrections, or things I need to add to my thought processes. Also if you could critique the decisions that I made PF and on the Flop as well as the sizes I chose, that would be extremely helpful to me. Thanks!

Edit: This hand is from WPN and was not working in the HandHistory category. Sorry about that!

Villain being 72/13 I don't think it's much of a decision to call here. Against a reg it's tougher as I don't expect many 1 pair shoves and he likely has all the sets in his range. Given we don't block fds I would consider calling it off there as well.

The Numbers 72 and 13 Are Booth so called "Stats", Short Word for statistics. The First Stat is VPIP and The Second Stat is PFR.

VPIP Means Voluntarily Put Money into The Pot so Every Time you limp/raise or complete The SB preflop this Value rises. PFR Means preflopraise so it tells you How many times you enter The Pot Preflop with a raise.

So 72/13 Means he is playing Every garbage Hand and mostly entering The Pot with a limp. Sometimes this Player will enter The Pot with a raise and then he is very strong so Beware.

So first off all 72/13 on 42 hands is a pretty good sample to identify this player as a really big fish.
Therefore he can have 97s, 99, 77, 44 but he can also have TT-JJ any toppair really, some OESD like T8s or 68s or maybe even 56s then he can have a ton of flushdraws so that being said you just cannot fold there.

Generally speaking u need lower samples to identify big fish because the likelyhood that a 72/13 becomes a 27/18 is really low so you can't really tell if he is a 50/10 fish but probably he is somewhere around the 50-80 Vpip ballpark area. So u just have to give him really wide postflopranges and then you also need to get a feel for how he plays them postflop. Some fish are weak tight postflop and only raise when they have 2pair+ basically. Vs these players u can cbet anything and just give up once they call you.

The more common fish however will call you pretty light on flop+turn so barreling only makes sense if scarecards come on the turn but even then be prepared to be called lightly.
So the way you deal with fish generally is you barrel scarecards but you only do so if you have some kind of backup-equity like a gutshot or an OESD or FD.

Snap call vs fish. You're gonna see draws, random pairs, occasional spew.
Also, fish tend to raise smaller with their big hands to 'lure you in' (not a rule tho, just a tendency in some cases), which makes it even more of a call.
