I would be surprised if you have a big enough sample for his bb 3bet to mean anything.
I would probably lean towards folding or 4betting preflop, weak offsuit broadways are doing fairly poorly against most ranges and if you call them all you end up with lots of combos.
As played the call down is standard.
Don't post results!
Thanks for the comment but i have two questions. First what is enough sample for you?Secondly why not post results?
I would say for it to give any indication you need like 500 hands of him in the bb so like 3k hands total, but even then I would want to have seen some hands at showdown before I made too many judgements about his range.
When you post results it biases the discussion, even when people aren't trying to be results orientated. Also by posting the results of a showdown you are letting people reply with more information about villain's range than you had when making your decision.
Fold pre. As played calling was fine.
Calling pre is ok, postflop is well played. Don't post results.
Do you think KJo is normally ahead of BB 3b range? Just curious, because I would normally fold this hand. I"m anything but an expert though
KJo has less than 50% equity against a typical BB 3b range if that's what you mean by ahead.
I think it's still a call considering pot odds though.
Postflop is fine.
Pre is borderline and can certainly be a fold or call.
or a 4bet
Yh that'd be ok if you thought opp was 3bing enough. Fold is likely best here.
true, most 2NL regs don't 3bet wide
Given you are playing 2NL I think folding pre is better than calling. I would fold > 4bet > call
Calling vs that river size is good. He could even be betting QcQx for value and we have a very good hand.
