Is calling the best option here or should I be raising? Whilst playing the hand my thinking was to call to keep in his bluffs but in retrospect what bluffs could he realistically have?

Is calling really nitty? We're still fairly deep and raise folding just sucks so much. Or should I just be happy to get it in?
Final Pot
BB
wins and shows a flush, King high.
CO lost and shows three of a kind, Eights.
BB wins $1.79
Rake is $0.06

Any help with this hand would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Your PF call with Q9s is fine, as the villain and you are both particularly deep.
Nothing to say about the flop.
On the turn, you need not 3-bet the villain’s raise: your hand has so much equity against the raise range that it would be a pity to make fold all the hands you beat. The villain does not raise a flush, but hands which need some protection against such a drawy board: a set (88, I exclude KK-QQ and 77, which would have been c-bet on the flop), two-pairs (K8s, Q8s, 87s, I exclude KQ and K7s for the same reason as KK-QQ and 77), maybe a Q such as AQ, Q9s+ and QTo+ and JT, T9s and 65s for an OESD (and to overcome the insufficient pot odds). With 96% equity against such a range, your hand can just call the raise easily.
On the river, I do not think the villain has a flush because of the raise on the turn. Against the villain’s c-bet range after the raise, the best decision is to make a call rather than a X / R. When you are tempted by 3-betting on the turn or making a X / R on the river, always remember that it is not enough to have a good hand: you need to be called by a lower hand (that is the definition of a value bet). If you 3-bet on the turn or X/ R on the river, I am afraid you have no value extaction by doing so; in other words, with a 3-bet on the turn or a X / R on the river, you are showing too much strength.
And it is not a question of being nitty or degen. ;-)
