His flop play is propably losing (without bdfd), then turn and river as played is propably whatever, A blocker is nice, then some people on your place are going to overfold both turn and river, and some are going to defend ok.
This is probably an exploitative player. It looks to me like he doesn't think you have a calling range on the river, which I think weak NL25 players probably dont have one, especially considering the spade draw missed, and no A or K hit the board, and the wheel draw went kaputt!
Whats your checking range on the turn?
I open somewhere like 60% of button because PP has no huds so it seems to be printing money
The flop is super dry so i'm cbetting nearly eveything on the flop.
I Cbet turn with most hearth draws, most K high hands trying to fold out his A High hands. All of my Qs, and flopped sets
I probably check turn with all Pocket pairs, Ax, trying to get to showdown.
And like a million combos that i Give up on turn
Now that i'm thinking about it, you are probably right. This looks like an explotative play because I do fold A TON to his turn and river bet.
Flop
- You bet small so villain should defend very wide (A6s is prob to wide)
Turn
- You check and the board is good for bluffing
River
- Same as turn very good bluff board (draws missed and no A or K)
So villain maybe spewy but could also play aggressive and exploiting weak passive players in the payer pool.
A or K rivers would actually be really good cards to bluff on, as these would be outs that are hitting stabber's bluffs, and that are challenging pocketpair-heavy range that OOP will have.
It depends but yes A/K rivers can be good cards to bluff on but they are not always good cards to bluff it depends heavily on the range one assigns to the villain.
Either way your prob more correct to say A/K are good cards to bluff then that I said that they are not as indeed besides Axs or Kxs (or perhaps A2 or A5 or AXh or Kxh) pairs are the most logical hands that would continue on this board.
