25NLz - Bad shove on the turn?

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (6 Players) BN: $59.70
SB: $23.96
BB: $25.00 (Hero)
UTG: $20.95
MP: $61.72
CO: $25.82
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is BB with A A
3 folds, BN raises to $0.75, SB raises to $2.50, Hero raises to $5.50, BN folds, SB calls $3.00
Flop ($11.75) 3 9 T
SB checks, Hero bets $3.05, SB calls $3.05
Turn ($17.85) 3 9 T J
SB checks, Hero bets $16.45 and is all in

I 4bet small 'cos we're in position and we put a lot of pressure forcing a wider range to call.

I don't know if we should CB our entire range on this flop, although we block Ad.

Are we giving it up on the turn or shoving for protection? I see some QQ, KK caling.

Looks fine to me. That turn isn't exactly our dream turn but you only have a pot sized bet left anyways. I would generally prefer a slightly bigger 4 bet size preflop but it sounds like you've put some thought into your sizing so it's probably not the end of the world and potentially even better than the size that I would use.

you only getting callled by better i feel when you shove and you a;ready looking nutted. i would say there is more merit in betting turn and shoving riv or folding sometimes if boards gets wetter.

Only being called by better isn't necessarily the worst thing when you've only got pot left on the turn though. As an extreme example, if we got folds 98% of the time but only got called by 2pair+ that 2% of the time we would still probably want to jam right?

Also, it's tricky to bet the turn and also bet the river given how much we have left. If we bet something like 1/3 pot on the turn, we can bet 1/3 pot on the river too but the board feels too draw heavy to really like sizings like that.

I dont think we only are getting called by worse gto wise, if villain deviate from gto and call only better combos thats doesnt mean it's bad shove, we are pushing tons of equity if he's only calling better imo

Would really like to know his 3bet %! knowing that we block d draw I believe we are really thin here even when he has QQ he is got an OESD. I am not very good at maths but it might be break even? or even less favorable for us, once he is call the flop. if he is a high 3beter like 10-12%+ I think we can be more comfortable.
Would really like to hear the math behind this hand from any RIO coach :)

Hey, what is your logic / thought process behind your $3.05 bet sizing on the flop?

When we bet small we still have a fold equity and we build a good pot geometry (SPR).
What does it means?

If we bet half pot or any value higher than that and he calls, most of the time he will be commited on the turn. The effective stack will be low compared to the pot sizing. When this happens, our fold equity decreases a lot.
