Do we have any stat from Villain? I think if we want to 4bet bluff we need to 4bet this hand
You may want to just call AA and KK once in a while BTN vs SB, but QQ is almost a mandatory 4bet 100% of the time.
As played preflop, I would probably raise the flop and hopefully get it in against the vast majority of his overpairs. The board is very dynamic and you may want to value/protect your hand.
Note that if you were open raising from HJ or earlier position, you probably want to just call QQ pre quite often, and just call the flop as well.
fine played if you run into AA or 66, or 87 in that exact hand doesn't matter and shouldn't affect us. IF you have AA can call flop, but QQ need a lot of protection so rasing likely to outperform calling.
Pre good too, can 4bet, can call time once in a while
Do we have any reads on our opponent? Our default play should be to 4 bet QQ in these positions so I'd want a pretty good reason to call or we're probably sacrificing EV needlessly.
I wanst aware that flatting QQ instead of 4 betting was losing so much ev. How did you come to that conclusion?
I'm pretty sure that I've looked at it doing DB analysis before. If you've got a reasonably big database you can check it for yourself by comparing your win rate when you 4 bet QQ in this spot versus when you call the 3 bet with QQ in this spot. Obviously we're not controlling for all of the variables doing that but I believe that the difference should be fairly large.
Tyler Forrester would be your go to here for a sure answer.
not 4betting your strong hands against linear 3bet range, let your opponent range realise too much equity (I think that's the idea)
Think need to have too big database and need to be callind QQ quite often to see EV difference, micro stakes much worse to call, since most people are passive and we don't win postflop so much as if we stack off preflop. However playing nl200> where people tend to be splashy (lol) QQ is alright hand to call time to time
4bet pre, unless you have some kind of a read that he's 3betting polar range, witch is unlikely nowadays
