HJ looks fishy - not playing full stack and VPIP/PFR is 80/20 over ~30 hands.
CO is playing VPIP/PFR/3b of 30/17/6 over ~50 hands.

3bet seems mandatory here obviously. Maybe should make it a little larger given HJ is pretty likely to call regardless and it would be nice to get the pot heads up since I'm OOP?

Hero bets $3.50,
HJ calls $3.50,
CO raises to $22.75, and is all in,
Hero raises to $23.81, and is all in,
HJ calls $13.60, and is all in
Decided to cbet 1/2 pot since I can get called by a lot of worse hands e.g. flush draws, AK, KQ, AJ, QJ, 98. Only worried about sets and JT since QQ+ would likely reraise pre.
Happy when HJ calls, but when CO ships it in I'm hating life. I'm tempted to rule out JJ and TT because I think he's likely to raise pre-flop with TT+. That leaves 44, JT and draws.
I ended up calling, but after reviewing the hand, I think holding the K of spades reduces the number of draws he has dramatically.
Easy fold?

Yea I might 3bet ever so slightly larger, as the fish is gonna be call happy, and the other reg is gonna call given pot odds.
OTF, yea I think its a fold, the fish called, so CO will be playing quite face up, like sets, 2pr, and very strong draws. Given the cards out there, he doesnt have much flush draws apart form AsQs.
I also wouldn;t rule out TT,JJ, not sure why you feel villain gets it in with those, I think those hands are defo in his flatting range here.
TY for comments. When I say I think he raises TT+ pre, I mean he I think he 3bets the fish initially, not 4bets once I've 3bet.
All sets are in CO's range here as well as top two pair. Villain being passive and your range looking exactly like an overpair i dont think CO is bluffing enough he just has so much more incentive to flat a draw and keep the fish in the pot. Ks is pretty relevant too because it reduces a lot of the combos of big combo draws he would shove if he was going to shove a draw. I think this is a fold.
fishes opening range isnt all that wide (20%) and being HJ it's probably a bit tighter, he probably limps his weaker hands. So i think it's ok to assume CO flats TT and JJ sometimes.
Ok thanks. If that's the case I am absolutely burning money! Was a full timeban sigh job.
This flop crushes both the CO's and HJ's range. What do you guys think about checking the flop?
i think CO range is wide, he is probably going to peel preflop with his entire range he called HJ open so although he has a lot of the nutted hands here he also has a lot of worse hands too. HJ is going to have plenty worse in his calling range so i think bet/folding is best.
basically this is a call if you think CO is shoving as wide as a bare open ended straight draw vs a fish who he probably doesnt have a lot of fold equity against and a reg whose range consists mostly of overpairs.
Point taken. Hated it when I realised I had the king of spades, but looks like a fold regardless now.
well at least you've learnt from it. i wouldnt worry too much i've made plenty worst calls and thankfully i still make money. and yeah it's a fold without the Ks blocker.
Thanks lobster. Obviously I'm posting the hand with a guilty conscience :P
