25NL: facing river shove vs my flopped trips
Hey guys I need your opinion whether or not this fold that I made on the river was correct..
villain was playing VP36/PR18/3B0
I was dealt JToff on the btn
Preflop:
MP raises to $0.75, MP+2 calls $0.75, CO calls $0.75, Hero calls $0.75
Flop is ($3.35, 4 players) T:heart: T:spade: 3:club:
MP checks, MP+2 checks, CO checks, Hero bets $1.50, MP folds, MP+2 calls $1.50
Turn is ($6.35, 2 players) Q:diamond:
MP+2 bets $4.25, Hero calls $4.25
River is ($14.85, 2 players)[/i] 9:club:
MP+2 bets $29.47 and is all-in, Hero folds
MP+2 wins $14.18
Was this a correct fold? Given that villain's stats he was playing passively and would never bluff in this spot..and the fact that he just cold called the dry flop and donked the turn to me at the time felt like he was really strong (33? QT?)..is this a fold?
