25/50: Call a cold 4b OOP w AJs
Hello,
I am very sorry, I tried to convert the HH but it doesn't seem to work. I apologise.
BU is a regular who opens 73% on the BU and fold to 3B 70%. If I remember correctly I did 3b him a few times already and won most of the pots.
BB has been 3 betting me a lot, espescially SB vs my BU opens. I folded a lot and he might see me as a player who folds too much against 3B.
I expect BB to have a wide range here because:
- he has position and he can try to make me fold preflop (since I was folding a lot until now). I expect him to have a wide cold 4b range here because he normally 3b 12% but has been 3betting me 21% of the time. He also 3b 27% BUvsCO. His cold 4betting range before than hand was 5%.

Hero ??? The pot is 4150$ and vilain still has 2500$ left.
I do not know how often he will try to bluff on the river if I call. He also have a few semi bluffs in his range, and a lot of hands that beat me.

I'm just reacting to that part now: wouldn't you expect a strong player to be aware of his image and maybe not 4betting you light right after he 3b you several times and you foldded? You seem to imply that his high 3b% during the session makes him more likely to be out of line with 4bets. Although it might be true (maybe during this session he wants for any reason to develop an agressive preflop game, or maybe he's tilted), it might also be the opposite (he realizes that he won't get much credit after having been perceived as aggressive pre). All this said, he is IP and you probably have a wide 3betting range, so it's surely a good spot for him to 4b bluff some of the time.
Your 'feel' ingame is what matters in the end anyway, but I'd be cautious because there are many players out there using an agressive image in some situations to get paid off in others where they are totally unbalance towards value betting.
