2/5 live, weird hand
BB $1300
UTG $1200
UTG1(hero) $1525
MP $1350
CO $800(villain)
BTN $1250
Hero open to $25 withQsQd CO flats BB flats
Flop 10s8s7h
BB checks Hero bets $45 villain flats, BB folds
Turn 2h hero bets $110 villain flats
River 7d hero bets $220 villain tanks, calls and shows 97r for trip 7's.
Villain is a pretty loose player, I only have short history with him but I know he plays his FD and sets extremely strong so when I bet flop and turn and he just flats I actually thought the river was a great card for me, I still get call from tptk and some J10 K10and A10's.
I guess he would have to raise turn if he has j9ss, I just got really confused how he stayed in the hand with bottom pair and S8D never raising flop or turn.
Any thoughts if I should have played the different, what would a better line for my hand, check raise flop and get it in on a blank turn?
Thoughts?
