2/5 live, good bluff vs villain range or bad play?
SB(fish) $460
BB(reg) $2,000 villain
UTG(fish) $800
Mp(reg) $2,500
Co(fish) $400
Btn(hero)$1,300
Villain joined our table and has been playing a very solid tag style, looks like a thinking player, when he raises and connects some how with the flop he always cbets if he doesn't he takes a stab on the turn and checks river and hasn't bluffed rivers yet this session.(that's the only info I have on villain)
Hero hasn't been getting out of line either, playing tag, I have 3bet villain once in this session IP and he folded.
Hero raises to $25 with QJdd villain 3bets to $75 hero calls
Flop $150
A105r
Villain checks hero checks behind
Turn
9
Villain bets $100 hero calls
River $350
9
Final board
A10599r
Villain checks hero bets $190 villain goes in the tank and folds.
I bluffed thinking that I could fold out JJ-KK hoping villain gives me a range of AKs and 1010 and I think my check on the flop looks pretty strong.
1) Was this a bad spot?
2) Should I be raising turn with my hand since I turned OE Str8 draw and I could fold out better since villain checked flop?
3) Should I be betting flop based on my read of villains game?
All opinions/thoughts are welcome.......
Thx!!
