2/5 live JJ 3 bet pot facing overcard turn
765 effective. Villain is a bald amish looking guy with a beard. He has been hitting every card in the deck, limping very wide and making small raises a decent % (He showed down A5o raising in MP)
Hero is dealt JJ no Js
Villain raises to 15 UTG+1 1 call Hero 3 bets to 65 in HIJACK both players call
Pot 200: Flop comes 974ss checks to HERO who cbets 135 Only Villain calls
Pot 470: Turn comes Qc Hero has 565 left... Checking doesn't really seem like an option villain's raise EP/call 3 bet range is somewhat wide but not ridiculously so I would put him on A10s-AKs, AQo AKo 88-1010 and suited broadways. Hero thinks for a little bit and bets 290. Thoughts on this hand so far? What % do you think JJ is ahead on the turn given our assigned range? Are we ahead often enough to bet/call (or shove) or is checking behind for pot control a better option?
