2/5: Beting sizing in polarized river spot
So I found this hand really interesting. Live 2/5 game, it plays pretty deep. Pretty terrible table except for villain. He is an on line regular in the NL500 & NL1000 tables.
9 HANDED
HERO (BB) 1000€
VILLAIN (CO) 1200€
*Dealt to hero [10c 6c]
5 way limped pot*
Pot 25€**
FLOP [10d 5h 6d]
Hero bets 15€
*Utg+1 call
Villain raises to 40€*
Hero calls
Utg+1 folds
Pot 120€
TURN [10d 5h 6d] [Jc]
Hero checks
Villain checks
RIVER [10d 5h 6d] [Jc] [Kd]
Hero checks
Villain bets 80€
Hero calls
I would like to know your points of view about his sizing.
This is a clear spot where mi range is capped and his range is polarized so, whats your opinion on overbetting this pot like 200€?? The hands that raise flop for value (10 5, 5 6) are not on his range anymore so overbetting that river is allowing him to bluff more because i would have to fold a bigger % of mi bluffcatchers.
Am I right?
Sorry for mi english.
