I do this very often in my games, small block bets IP for protection in order to check every rivers. This is a very exploitative play imo well adapted to passive fields.

I block the hands which I split with a lot, and he has a bunch of flush draws. I don't think I am ever close to having the 40% required to call here... Do you agree?

Not sure about turn. Betting 2h is going to be clearly better than betting 2s since there would be no flush completing rivers possible. Problem is, he has a ton of 10x in his range here and I am not sure what better hands will fold. Maybe 77, 88. I think 66 calls turn here potentially which is honestly not a terrible result since any either of the two 6's is a soul crusher for him.
I think he can potentially get to this river with every set, AT, A4, some A5, 75s and then some stuff that beats you (65s, and flushes). So the question is, does he do this (2x pot) with sets+ or strictly with straights+. I know at Ignition I am probably calling this since you will see AT here sometimes. And if you see AT here sometimes, you will see sets here sometimes. It wouldn't take much weirdness on his part to make this a profitable call.
Hey, not sure about all of the assumptions I can make regarding my field. Even though it is overall fishy, I think taking this for sufficient argument would be contradictory as I previously said that "my field is passive".
So overall, doing some Equilab I found that this call was at best breakeven/slightly winning. I think this is a "Grey investment zone", a pretty whatever spot where we can chose to fold for the sake of avoiding tilt. :)
What are the accomplishes of betting small twice in a high SPR pot?
This is an exploit based on the passivity of the field. When doing node-locking in PIO, you can notice that hands which require more protection are a bet way more often if the oponent overfolds/underbluffs
Btw I think this is another good example of a "grey zone" investment where we can fold to avoid tilt :)
pretty marginal spot to be calling to chop and vs the 2x pot I'd just call your flushes. I like your turn bet as an exploit but you can think about sizing up vs weaker player as they're never folding A high.
ChaoRen123 where does "grey zone" investment come from? Is there a video that i can watch that explains this? I feel like I've been hitting this spot a lot lately.
Thanks.
Hey, actually I wanted to post a link before but I didn't find it.
Here is it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN8C--DqEMA :D
Hey, i like your turn bet aswell, i guess it works out pretty good usally. In this spot OTR I think it depands a lot on what you think he calls your small Flop Cbet. So with what kind of BDFD hes calling.
