I dont understand in the slightest what hand he would play like this. My first reaction is just to shove because I cant ever see how he ends up with AQ here, but if hes taking such a WTF line and its a hand that has KQ beat he prolly can't find the fold button, so no point in turning it into a bluff. I mean say hes got AK and c/c the turn because he just thinks you are going to float him here a ton, your most obvious float hand is AQ so he sure as hell cant lead AK here. I guess he could have KK and checked the turn cuz hes scared you outflopped him, and then leads river? But there is only one combo of that hand, and you would bet set/2pair for him anyway, so why would he bet?

Literally nothing makes sense for him. I would just fold I guess because when regs take weird lines like this its usually for value, and even harder than thinking of a hand he plays like this for value is thinking of a hand he bluffs like this. I mean is he turning AT into a bluff? Plus you have AQ/sets/2pair to defend your range with here, so its not like its even an exploitative fold.

really tho, I hope you called, cuz I wanna know wtf he had :)

To me this looks like a missed flush draw the lead the river because he didn't have value, but that assumption doesn't make much sense given the fact that he 3 bet pre. So I think he decided to stick with AK or AQ on the turn, for on reason or another, and he thinks he beats you on the river, rightfully so. Based on that, I'd probably fold.

Hey guys, I made the experience that huge donkbets (nearly potsize) on the lower stakes at the river are allways almost nuts. Given his relatively strong oop 3Bet range we are beating nearly nothing on this board and I don't really see bluffing hands here.

We are losing against almost his complete value range like AA/KK/JJ/TT/AQ.

Let's take a look at the busted flushdraw combinations he might bluff here: KQ, AK, AQ and sometimes 67, 89, A3, A4, A5. As you can see we are only ahead against the rare combinations of suited connectors and small aces, but we also lose against his standard range KQ,AK,AQ here.

I really don't see much hands we are winning against and I don't see him bluffing here. Keep in mind that the board is pretty scary and hits our perceived range pretty good. We could hold a ton of valuehands (sets, straigts, 2 pair) here which would call the river. So it's a pretty bad spot for him to bluff.

have to agree with choochoo here...IMO his line is pretty credible wit ha lot of holdings that have you beat here....I guess folding could be pretty raesonable (rule of thumb: bet-XC-bet= superstrong usually)

I agree that this big donk bet is a sign of strong hand. And as said he doesnt have many combos that he could turn into bluff, or even thinks of possibility to do so.

In game my time bank run out so unfortunately no result in this one.

Just a question y not check behind out...when he c/c the turn it says I have something a draw small pair etc...I know its a nitty play but vs a psychopath I like a check back cuz then if u do hit Broadway he is first to act and w/o any info he might lead all rivers especially scary ones....imo bloating the pot vs a complete donkey is neg every cuz u know hes never folding even a high....
