200NL: I just might have played every street of this hand wrong

HJ: 254.36
CO: 200
BN: 124.36
SB: 229.61 (Hero)
BB: 158
UTG: 139.10
Villain is a good reg. His 3b form BTN vs CO is 5%.

I'm not going to comment on the hand posted here, but the villain and I played a hand on another table in which I opened form the BTN, he 3b and called my 4b from the BB. On the flop J63 rainbow he checked, and I bet 21 in to 71. Turn was a T, bringing in a fd, and we both check. River was an 8 and he overbet shoved 151 in to 113, and I snap called him with KK. He showed AQ.

We chatted for a bit:
V:"was that a hope snap?"
H:"I guess :/"
H: I tend to snap call a lot"
V: "Good."
V: " :) "

Preflop (3) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt K K
UTG folds, HJ raises to 6, CO raises to 18, BN folds, Hero calls 17, BB folds, HJ calls 12
Flop (56) J T 2 (3 Players)
Hero checks, HJ checks, CO checks
Turn (56) J T 2 T (3 Players)
Hero bets 28, HJ folds, CO raises to 75.64, Hero calls 47.64
River (207.28) J T 2 T 8 (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets 106.36, and is all in, Hero folds
Final Pot
CO wins 205.13

I don't know why you would want to flatcall a 3bet with KK OOP vs a guy whom you just got into it with in a 4bet pot- I think you're trying to be overly tricky here and it's not for the better. You provided his BTN vs CO 3bet% but this hand was CO vs HJ so I'm
assuming his 3bet is a bit lower than 5% and super value heavy which is more reason to just 4bet PF.

As played I guess it's a call? I just can't imagine him having many bluffs that take this line besides AKss. Then again I'm not sure what he really has for value...

Also, what did he show up with in that hand you snapcalled? That might help us with the dynamic leading into this hand.

looks like AA.  he's virtually never bluffing here with the dynamic and the fact he's only got 1/2 pot leverage (you just snapped him thin for an overbet), and v-betting QQ would just be v bad for him

I think turn might be a check

Im with Nick that you're likely just running into a better hand here. Also, because villain is the one who 3 bet he can have a chunk of 10x in his range that will play this way pretty much every time.

as played I think you lost the minimum and I don't see why QQ would play this way from him, he's very towards AhA there, to take this line and after the chatting. OTT I think is pretty close to bet/call or bet/fold because the only really good card for us a K and with a half of PSB OTR he is shoving any card there. I rather fold OTT as played but I think your hand plays better as x/c and x/c OTR if he doesn't jam.
